BLIND GUARDIAN: 'Fly' International Chart Positions Revealed

# 29 in Sweden
# 32 in Germany
# 52 in Austria
# 94 in Switzerland
Audio samples of "Fly", have been posted online at this location. The single, which was released on February 24 via Nuclear Blast, contains the following track listing:

02. Skalds and Shadows (acoustic version)
03. In A Gadda Da Vida (IRON BUTTERFLY cover)
The acoustic version of "Skalds and Shadows" and BLIND GUARDIAN's version of the IRON BUTTERFLY classic "In A Gadda Da Vida" (previously covered by SLAYER) only appear on the single and will not be featured on the band's much-anticipated new album, tentatively titled "A Twist in the Myth". As previously reported, BLIND GUARDIAN recently replaced drummer Thomen Stauch, who left the band in April after 20 years. The new man behind the kit is fellow German Frederik Ehmke, who is said to be "fairly unknown in the world of metal." Working songtitles for the new CD include "Carry the Blessed Home", "The Edge", "In Search for the Lionheart", "Market Square", "Another Stranger Me", and "Otherland".
